Rat Gorls sprang forth from a collective hunger for a space where young women could confidently navigate the twists and turns of early adulthood. 

 

Our quest for such a space proved futile… We weren’t satisfied by the redundant “in the box” organizations that only catered to one of our many identities, or put pressure on us to have it all figured out, or encouraged us to over-consume to fit in with the other girls.

As you know, early-adulthood isn't so much about being the hottest, most successful, or perfect version of ourselves (that girl)… 

 

Rather, it is a journey of discovering our purest selves, and committing to loving her unconditionally; for who she was yesterday, who she is becoming today, and who she will be tomorrow. The gorls who acknowledge and celebrate the liminality of this phase are Rat Gorls.

As we began building our technology, Rat Gorls quickly evolved to become a sanctuary where shared experiences converge, and every woman is empowered to embrace every side of herself. The Rat Gorls Universe is now a dynamic ecosystem of women, digital creators, and industry leading organizations; each committed to our mission to put more young women at the forefront of global change for our future.
